Hello, I am Olivia
I am a project manager and a parent, an expat living in Toronto, Canada.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Canada wasn't part of our long-term plan. Like many expatriate relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The first months were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Daily tasks felt more complicated than they should have.
The Adjustment Period
Cultural shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing were part of it. But gradually, routines settled in. We found places that worked for us, met other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Built Sorvel Revore Savluv Qo
Most information online was either corporate-level relocation guidance or surface-level tourism content. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site exists to close that gap — practical guidance based on real life in Canada.
